Yippee! We’re LIVE!

NOTE: This post discusses the launch of our 2014 website. As you can probably tell, the Handcrafted HoneyBee mission & brand have changed quite a bit since then. But it's important to always remember your beginnings, and I'll always be grateful to Ink+Mortar, Courtney Sacket & Intuit for giving us our first professional look!

After many months and a LOT of work, I am happy and proud to announce that our new website is up and running, as you can see! I hope you take the time to peruse some of the wonderful new features, including details for each kit (like approximate time to allow), new customization options, new ways to search for kits, and a beautiful new blog with lots of easy-to-find features! In fact, this weekend I hope to be shooting my first video for you. :)

And now, a few words of thanks…

I am forever grateful to Sharon from Ink + Mortar Design Co. for all of her tireless work pulling this off. If anyone ever needs a graphic designer, let me tell you…she’s your gal. She is professional to a “T” and her talent is equalled by her creativity. She handled unexpected bumps in the road with incredible grace and the end result is nothing less than stunning. I am so happy I was able to work with her on this!

Secondly, I’d like to thank Courtney Sacket Photography for the incredible pictures that can be found on the site. I gave Courtney an idea of what I was looking for, and BOOM! She delivered and then some. Also, if you’re local to Tehachapi, she’s actually a portrait photographer by trade. If you’re looking for someone to take stunning family portraits or to photograph a wedding, definitely look her up.

Finally thanks also to Intuit for the generous $5000 prize that made this possible.  Without that prize, this makeover would have been many years off!

This is only the beginning of lots of good things coming from Handcrafted Honey Bee. A big thanks to each and every one of YOU for accompanying us on the journey! Here’s me raising a glass tonight to a job well done and a future that’s lookin’ bright…cheers!
